WIN A FREE SHOW!

On Friday 20th March 2026, we hit an exciting milestone here at Moonstone Murders, our 900th case since launching in October 2017. 

So we thought, with case 1000 creeping its way around the corner, why not add a little extra excitement and give it away for free! 

How to win? Simple really. Book an event with us, and if your event is the 1000th, then outside of the deposit to cover admin costs the show is free (we aren’t one for overcomplicating a competition; our suspicious suspects give enough confusion as it is). 

As to what day it will be exactly? We have no idea, but considering our rapid growth in the past few years and current bookings we know for sure it will be in 2026. To help you on your search for the golden booking, here are a few clues for you:

• Show 850 was on Friday 12th December 2025
• Show 800 was on Wednesday 30th October 2026
• Show 750 was on Saturday 19th July 2025 (as you can see, it’s been ramping up as we go!)
• Show 1000 (if nothing changes…) is scheduled to happen at some point of November 2026.

So if you fancy a last minute October or November booking, there’s a chance you can knock the magic number off it’s perch and get yourself a steal!

And, if you already have an event contracted in with us, good news if you are in the running already!

So that’s the challenge, now for a few boring rules:

1. If the winning booking is a Bespoke project, the winner will be refunded the performance fee; bespoke writing, the non-refundable deposit payment (to cover admin costs) and purchase fees will still apply. 
2. In the circumstances, the winning case is outside of our general travel area (of which overnight accommodation and additional travel apply), the client will remain liable for the agreed accommodation and travel fees. 
3. Only events within the UK are eligible to win.
4. Only events provided by the London/ South Eastern & York/ Northern branch are eligible for the competition (Shows hosted by our sister company in South West England are not eligible for entry). 
5. The winner of the 1000th show will be informed at their event booking, at which time contact will be made to arrange a full refund of performance fees paid within 21 days of the event. 
6. In the event of the 1000th case falling on a date with multiple shows, and it is unclear which event is case 1000, the winner will be randomly selected. 
7. No additional payment will be made outside of refunding payments made within the individual client’s agreed contract fee. 
8. In the event the 1000th performance is for a public ticketed venue, as opposed to a refund, the venue will be offered a free performance (to the same capacity Band as the scheduled event) bookable within the next 12 months.
